The winery
A family story
As a third-generation winegrower, I assumed ownership of “Le Domaine de la Grange” in 1992, following in the footsteps of my father and grandfather.
Initially focused on grape production, the estate had had a longstanding partnership with the cooperative wine cellar in Bléré since 1925, a collaboration I continued for a decade.
However, fueled by my great love for the vineyards and a desire to uphold traditional winemaking practices, I made the decision to become an Artisan Winegrower in 2002. This marked a pivotal moment as I parted ways with the cooperative to dedicate myself to my winery and producing my own wines.
An exciting journey for us, with our vision firmly fixed on the future.
Work in the vineyard
It all starts in the vineyard, where the love and care for our land and vines are essential to creating high quality wines.
To accomplish this, we employ a variety of techniques tailored to each individual plot.
Through meticulous pruning and de-budding, controlled yields, and sustainable soil management, we grow grapes of exceptional quality.
This attention to detail culminates in a harvest that yields ripe, full-bodied grapes, resulting in wines that are both expressive and elegant.
The blending phase is a crucial step where artistry meets science, as we carefully balance the flavours to highlight the unique character of our terroir.
We have a large selection of wines from beautifully mature, to vibrant, fruity varieties ready to drink immediately and structured classics that can be cellared; our range offers something for every palate and occasion.
